BlackBerry 2011 CDMA Roadmap Leaked; Monaco, Montana, Sedona, Malibu, and 6.1 Evolution

If you were curious on the timeline for the 2011 BlackBerry lineup, you’ll be happy to learn all about it in these new slides. We heard rumored specs and renders for the Monaco, Montana, and Apollo. There were also those live images we showed you of the Curve Sedona. Now the fourth device to hit the wire is the Curve Touch ‘Malibu’.

The 2011 CDMA lineup is looking pretty nice. RIM also plans for OS 6.1 Evolution. This will include some of the new features we heard about from DevCon Asia, as well as new ones like liquid graphics (optimized graphics for gaming), voice-enabled universal search, enhanced virtual keyboard, magnetometer, and more. The only thing that strikes us odd in the roadmap is the PlayBook listed for release in Q2. This is probably the 3G/4G version for Sprint (or so we hope). Check out the rest of the slides below:

  1. This is very exciting information and I for one cannot wait to see these new features roll out. Hopefully they come sooner rather than later.
