The BlackBerry Bold 9790 ‘Bellagio’ was recently spotted with raised buttons, similar to the Torch 9860, 9850. Now clearer hands-on photos of the Bold 9790 have surfaced showing the crossbreed of a Bold 9700 and Torch 9860, 9850. The keyboard does a cool wraparound where the bezel is placed on the backside. I don’t like the back of it though – too smooth? Much prefer the 9700/9780.
Not sure where all the hate is for the new call/disconnect buttons. I’d be more annoyed about the lack of charging contacts.
If they delayed releasing this b/c of the buttons, then RIM a F#$#@ moron. How could they miss back to school with this? Take the old design and up the spec’s with OS7 and touch screen your done. What’s so F#$@ hard about that? You already have bold 9900 running the same HW!
