Untitled-1

Everyone’s excited about the upcoming release of PlayBook OS 2.0 tomorrow and, obviously, BlackBerry Bridge had to be updated sooner or later. Bridge has just been updated to version 2.0.0.25 and is available for download in the App World. Here’s what’s new:

  • Use your smartphone’s keyboard, trackpad and touchscreen to remotely control your PlayBook tablet
  • Open attachments, files and Browser URLs directly on your PlayBook tablet from your BlackBerry smartphone’s menu
  • Copy/Paste from anywhere in BlackBerry Bridge PlayBook apps
  • Use Device Properties menu to turn on and off BlackBerry Bridge email, calendar and address book accounts
  • Improved stability with multiple pairing and connectivity bug fixes
  • Various UX improvements

Some of you might have already gotten the update, but if you haven’t make sure you go to App World and press alt+rst and download it so you are ready for OS 2.0!

The camera is good or I like the form ftacor , but compared to what? I guess, yes his reviews are review but I’d love to see some more effort put into gathering actual information about the devices he reviews. The best reviews are those that blend a reviewers opinion and device specs/info together well. Just my opinion.

I’m not picking sides, but that guy is right. They were there. I saw them too. Not that I care. The ctmemnos have been deleted now so who cares. But you can do a Google cache search and they’ll show up.

All these iphones and plyabook devices with their fancy commercials seem like a huge scam if you ask me. If this thing is so powerful, why can’t I use it as a phone? I use my psp for outgoing calls and it costs 2 cents per min, with no monthly fees. I mean, I’m educated, working full time and broke enough as it is already.

    OK, remote is AWESOME.
I’m using it right now, and let me say that I think this is gonna sell a lot of playbooks lol. I imagine it’ll come in handy together with the HDMI-out

  7. Mine was showing that upgarde was available, but didn’t have the upgrade button. Inside the app, check for update said that the app was up-to-date. I then have updated app world itself. Still same issue. So I have deleted bridge app and reinstalled new bridge, which was some variation of bridge 2.0.xx.
Hope this helps to anyone having the same issue!
Otherwise geat update. Waiting till 4 am to see if RIM rolls up playbook os 2.

This application works on my torch 9800 luxury! I only need to update my playbook!

you can still use it from my understanding there is no way day get block it uslens you’re tethering. Tethering turns your blackberry smartphone into a modem, when bridging you using the same data you blackberry is using. not one of my at t buddies are having problems bridgeing. hope that helps.

  9. My carrier is AT&T and I was having problems downloading BlackBerry Bridge Version 2.0.0.25 If you have problems downloading through the App World, try the following link: http://rroyy.com/ota/ Once there scroll down to the BlackBerry Bridge v2.0.0.25 section and click on the link that matches the OS version installed on your phone. Loving this Bridge upgrade and I can’t wait to show it off to those that don’t own a PlayBook. Thanks RIM!

  10. Thank you so much for the link i was struggling hard to update my 9800
