Recently, BlackBerry’s CEO, John Chen, was a guest speaker at the MIT Enterprise Forum in Hong Kong.
There, Chen spoke on the struggles of the company and what they’ve been doing to steer the ship into the right direction.
Chen reiterates how they’ve launched BBM cross-platform and released the low-end BlackBerry Z3 with Foxconn partnership.
Furthermore, Chen says that BES12 will launch on November 13th, followed by (a statement many had missed) the BlackBerry Classic “one month later.”
This can be heard in the video above at the 1:05:54 mark. Interestingly, this somewhat follows in line with the 2014 global roadmap we leaked earlier this year, which did not show the Classic having a November launch (despite what Chen had previously commented).
Nevertheless, if the Classic does launch around the December 13th date, it will most likely put Classic sales towards Q1 2015 for the enterprise market.
