BlackBerry Device Analyzer Coming in OS 7.1

Research In Motion appears to be working on a ‘BlackBerry Device Analyzer’ app, which we’ll see introduced in BlackBerry OS 7.1. The Device Analyzer app was found in the recent Bold 9900 OS 7.1.0.150 build. Test interfaces include:

  • Network signal
  • Email connectivity
  • Battery status information
  • Hardware testing
  • WiFi connectivity
The BlackBerry Device Analyzer looks to help end users solve common issues with. In addition to the tests listed above, a user can check their device’s antenna signal strength, voice and data capability. Check below for more screenshots from the app.
