Post 8900 does not boot or charge

A friend of mine has an 8900 that does not boot again when trying to turn ON,when connected to a computer (Windows 7) the red light shows and the screen only shows the sign that the battery is chargin’ wich does not even after 24hrs of being connected.the system recognises the phone as a BB smartphone but the DM does not show the fone or the PIN, any help with these people.

Does BBSAK recognize it when plugged in? If it does, wipe it and try loading the OS again

Yes it was recongnised by the DM but I was nt able to view d pin
