Just the other day when we told you RIM was working on a touchscreen for the BlackBerry Style2, we also noted they had been working on a Touch Curve. Turns out they still are and it should be releasing late 2011, early 2012. The new Curve Touch is codenamed Malibu and will be the first keyboard-less Curve. Check out the rumored specs below:
- Processor: Qualcomm MSM 8655 800MHz CPU
- Radio: CDMA – EvDo Rev A
- Display: 3.25″ 480×360 HVGA
- Navigation: Trackpad & Nav Keys
- Keypad: Virtual QWERTY
- Camera: 5 MP (with HD Video recording)
- Memory: 1GB Flash + 512MB RAM, Hot Swap MicroSD slot
- Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n
- GPS: Autonomous & A-GPS
- Connectivity: NFC, Micro USB, Bluetooth 2.1
- Sensors: Ambient Light Sensor, accelerometer
The Malibu will be a CDMA device and looks relatively similar to the Monaco, except with a form factor like the BlackBerry Sedona. What do you think of the Malibu?
