RIM confirmed that BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0 would be releasing sometime in February, but has otherwise kept everyone in the dark. We’ve heard it will be releasing on February 21st, and have so far even seen store banners advertise the update in the UK.
Best Buy Canada is pushing out a weekly flyer that will be advertising the BlackBerry PlayBook’s price cut and the pending OS 2.0 update. The flyer goes into effect this Friday for 1-week. Get ready for the big update as it is only days away!

RIM to need to cut the exclusivity of the playbook in my area and sell them everywhere. the two places I know of that did stock them, no longer have them on shelves – not once did I see a price reduction. lame
