According to Context, a british electronics distribution specialist, RIM’s BlackBerry PlayBook has outsold the latest version of Apple’s iPad for the last two months of the past 2012. Though not all sales are monitred by Context, most of them are so the results would still be the same.
RIM sold 160,000 units of their PlayBook tablet, while Apple sold 113,000 of the latest iPad. The prices were £129 for the PlayBook and £399 for the iPad, so this is something that would definitely attract a lot of customers. Still, this shows quite an change in the market, a very positive one for RIM. What do you guys think?
