BlackBerry announced during the Live Conference in Orlando that support for Android Jelly Bean was coming this summer. The ability to run Android apps has benefit the company a lot by getting support from major developers like Skype and Amazon.

Today the website Gadget Masters reported that BlackBerry is working on an .Apk to .Bar converter app to help BB10 users bypass the need of a computer to side load apps on their device.

I believe BlackBerry always has the developer in mind and developing an app that will help pirate an app isn’t the best way to court developers and that is why I am a little skeptical about the availability of such app. I guess time will tell.

What do you think? Do you think BlackBerry should make a converter app? Sound Off!
