First Look at Facebook 2.0 for BlackBerry

Interested to know what will be in and/or what the next Facebook for BlackBerry will be like? Hot off the tip-line, we’ve been sent these three images of what are said to be screen captures for Facebook 2.0! BlackBerry users have been quite in a fit that the Facebook app hasn’t been up to par when placed against the versions for iPhone or Android devices. Luckily, Facebook 2.0 looks to leverage the playing field by bringing equality to all. Here are some of the specs:

  • Facebook Chat
  • UI Refresh
  • View friends’ profile info, pages and friends lists
  • Improved core app integration

Facebook 2.0 is said to have an official target release date of May 2011, with an even earlier Beta 2 release projected for March 2011. So, who is excited about finally getting the FB Chat in the official app?

  4. Hopefully this will be available in Beta Zone long before May’s release! Unless of course that date is when they’ll release it in Beta Zone for testing lol…which wouldn’t surprise me
