John Clayton Mayer – or just John Mayor – is a 39-year-old Bridgeport (Connecticut) born, singer/songwriter and guitarist. He was born on October 16th, 1977 and raised near Fairfield. The record producer went to Berklee College of Music in Boston, but soon after disenrolled to make the big move to Atlanta in the year 1997, where he and Clay Cook formed Lo-Fi Masters. The two-man band was short lived. Mayer continued to play in clubs after the duo split. He worked on improving his craft and managed to gain a following during that time. It was his appearance at the South by SouthWest Festival that took his career to a new level. He first got signed by Aware Records, then went on to sign with Columbia Records. His first EP, titled Inside Wants Out, was released under Columbia records. Two full-length albums followed in the years 2001 and 2003. They were titled Room for Squares and Heavier Things respectively. Both went multiplatinum!

From there on it has been the release of various singles, albums, and awards for his efforts. John Mayer was awarded the Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance in the year 2003 for his single Your Body Is A Wonderland. He collaborated with B. B King, Buddy Guy, and Eric Clapton, to form the Mayor Trio. What a journey in the industry!

Starting on March 31st, 2017 and ending on April 22nd, 2017, the tour around North America kicks off at Albany, New York in Times Center, and concludes in T-Mobile Arena, in Las Vegas.
