RIM Temporarily Barred from Using BBX Trademark by U.S. Court

*UPDATE* – RIM has officially changed the name from BBX to BlackBerry 10!

U.S. court has temporarily barred RIM from using the BBX moniker during DevCon Asia. Basis International who owns the trademark to ‘BBx’ had previously threatened RIM with legal action. According to Basis International, RIM had refused requests to stop using the moniker at the DevCon conference, which resulted in the company filing for the temporary restraining order. This story is still developing. We’ll update this post as we receive more.
