Spider-Man’s cameo in Captain America: Civil War is one of the most anticipated parts of this 2016 movie. The fact that Spidey is finally being introduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe has got all comic book fans excited and as more information comes in, the hype keeps getting bigger. One of the more intriguing questions surrounding Spider-Man’s first appearance revolves around what outfit he will be wearing during this movie.
A new report from Heroic Hollywood points to two separate costumes being worn by Spider-Man during his Civil War showing. The first will be a cheap, homemade outfit that Peter Parker uses to keep his identity a secret while fighting bad guys. The second though, will reportedly be a gift from Iron Man himself, Tony Stark, after Spider-Man decides to join his side of the fight.
Unfortunately, if you’re waiting for it to be the Iron Spider suit that’s seen in the CW comics, don’t get your hopes up. This second suit will more than likely be the classic red and blue Spider-Man costume we’ve come to know for decades. If Marvel were to switch it up last minute, I don’t think any of us would complain though.
Spider-Man’s new solo movie, which is currently set for a July 28, 2017 release, should have the new suit that’ll debut during Civil War. That should tie everything in quite nicely at the end of the day.
