Stranger Things Season 2 Spoilers: Max to Be Introduced in First Episode?
The latest Stranger Things Season 2 spoilers suggest that one of the show’s new characters will be introduced during its premiere episode.
According to reports, Stranger Things fans will for the first time see Max on the show as the first episode of the Netflix blockbuster hit is set to introduce one of what the show’s director thinks will likely be new ‘fan favorites’.
In an interview with Collider, Stranger Things Director Shawn Levy commented:
“And there are several new characters who I think several of them are going to be new fan-favorites because they’re great, great new characters.”
Despite earlier rumors that suggest the show will be shifting its focus to other characters in the Stranger Things Season 2, however, Levy assured in the same interview that they are “definitely sticking primarily with our core group, and what is different, how are they changed from the experience of last season… maybe ‘normal’ is never possible again.”
Stranger Things Season 2 is expected to premiere July 2017 on Netflix.
No Older Versions of Eleven?
The latest Stranger Things Season 2 spoilers reveal that contrary to what was initially believed, there are no older versions of Eleven.
According to Stranger Things professional hairstylist Sarah Hindsgaul during a recent interview, rumors about the so-called older versions of Eleven which sprung up from an advertisement that the production has posted before was ‘completely blown out of proportion’.
Hindsgaul also proceeded to say that instead of actresses willing to go bald, the ad actually meant actresses who are willing to cut their hair and get bangs.
She also added that they were also looking for actors willing to grow out their hair.
Thanks to Hindsgaul’s revelation, fans can now safely assume that there will be no surprise older versions of Eleven in the show’s upcoming second season — at least not ones who are bald, anyway.
Will Joyce Byers be in Season 2?
Recent Stranger Things Season 2 rumors suggest that Joyce Byers might not be in the show’s much-awaited forthcoming season.
If rumors actually hold true, and if Winona Ryder gets things her way, Joyce Byers will not be around during the show’s second season.
According to reports, Ryder has been trying to negotiate with the show’s producers about taking a leave from the show — an entire season of leave, that is.
That doesn’t necessarily mean that Joyce won’t be in the show, however. She could be in the show in some other form.
But for now, fans will just have to sit back, relax, and wait for the show to start.
Will Eleven’s Return Bring Disaster to Hawkins?
After admitting in an interview that anime classics ‘Akira’ and ‘Elfen Lied’ were one of the main inspirations in the show’s creation, Stranger Things creator Matt Duffer might have subtly hinted on what fans can expect in the upcoming second season of Netflix hit show Stranger Things.
During an interview with The Daily Beast, Duffer admitted that there were a lot of ‘things’ inspired by ‘Elfen Lied’ that successfully made it to the show.
“There were a lot of things in [‘Elfen Lied’] that I really liked and that made their way into the show.”
Some reports suggest that the idea of Eleven’s return to Hawkins might have been a concept taken from ‘Akira’, in which the imprisoned psychic Akira’s return has caused devastation to Tokyo.
Will Eleven’s return, then, bring devastation to Hawkins in a similar fashion?
As fans eagerly yet patiently await the return of Netflix’s unexpected hit show Stranger Things to the digital screen, a Reddit user who goes by the handle u/thecwolf came up with a very interesting theory involving eggs, monsters and Demogorgons.
In his theory, he proposes that the Demogorgons might not exactly be the real enemies after all. He instead asked:
“What if the eggs in the Upside Down are for other monsters, and the Demogorgon eating them has been the only reason they haven’t hatched and taken over the world? Like how a cat eats mice to prevent infestation.
IF Eleven did kill the Demogorgon, that means the eggs might go uneaten and may have a chance to hatch. Which means Ahhh! More Monsters!
Even if this doesn’t turn out to be remotely true, I just realized Demogorgon would be a really good name for a cat.
Though u/thecwolf’s theory could be something that couldn’t possibly be farther from the truth, it does sound like a good theory.
But whether or not u/thecwolf is right about the Demogorgons, still remains to be seen.
Is Eleven Teaming Up With a New Character?
The latest Stranger Things Season 2 spoilers indicate Eleven might just be teaming up with a brand new character in the show’s forthcoming season.
Reports say Eleven is poised to team up with Billy — a “confident, charismatic high school student with a suppressed violent nature” — to fight Demagorgons during Stranger Things’ second season.
Along with Billy is another new character expected to be introduced in the show’s upcoming season — a boyish, suspicious girl by the name of Max, who also happens to be Billy’s stepsister.
