Verizon Wireless’ CFO, Fran Shammo, said the company is planning to eliminate their unlimited data plan, still available for 3G customers who were grandfathered into the plan. Sprint Delays the 3G BlackBerry PlayBook, again

The 3G BlackBerry PlayBook was scheduled to release on April 19th, but was then later pushed to May 8th. According to the leaked slide above, the 3G has been delayed indefinitely, but is still said to be releasing, as dealers are said to hold on to promo materials and pedestals. AT&T getting 3G BlackBerry PlayBook in April; 4G LTE version soon after?

RIM will first release a WiFi-only BlackBerry PlayBook at launch, expected sometime in March. Sprint has already officially announced they will eventually offer a 4G WiMax PlayBook too.
