When RIM rolled out OS 2.1 for the BlackBerry PlayBook, it was not available for the 4G LTE PlayBook. However, it appears that OS 2.1 is now available. The new 4G LTE BlackBerry PlayBook comes with an upgraded processor of 1.5GHz. Whereas, the original WiFi-only model only packs a 1GHz processor. It doesn’t sound like that much of an upgrade, but it is certainly noticeable with some games, apps, and more.
