We’re live at the BlackBerry 7 event at the SoHo Hotel in London, England. Today, RIM finally announced the BlackBerry Torch 9860 and 9850, Torch2 9810, and recapped on the Bold 9900 and 9930. Additionally, RIM announced that 5 BlackBerry 7 devices would be releasing (presumably in the UK). The roadmaps and release date leaks have begun to snowball for BlackBerry 7 devices. The next carrier to have its share of BlackBerry 7 leak is Bell. According to the leaked slide, Bell should be receiving the Torch2 9810, Torch 9860, Bold 9900, and Curve 9360. Both the Torch2 9810 and the Bold 9900 appear to be releasing on August 16th. RIM has begun notifying developers that they have are accepting apps for certain BlackBerry 7 devices. Aside from the Bold 9900 and 9930, they will now accept submissions for the Torch2 9810, Torch 9850, and Curve 9360. Two new photos have come out for the BlackBerry 9860 ‘Touch’ Monza, the first one shown above gives a better glimpse at the new button setup. The second one shows the new OS 7 build, currently at v7.0.0.74! The new buttons on the 9860 have dropped the green/red colors for the send and end keys, much like that of the 9900/9930 ‘Bold Touch’. Just the other day we heard the rumor that BlackBerry OS 6.1 would be changed to OS 7, theory was this would be so since it would be such a larger change from OS 6.
