YouMail 2.3.4 for BlackBerry Released; In-App Community Greetings, Management and Number Search
The BlackBerry version of YouMail has been updated to v2.3.4, bringing with it a refreshed UI, and new features. Some of the new features include:
- One-Touch Community Greetings and Management. A new navigation bar lets you easily access greeting settings, like what greetings play for your callers, and how you want to handle “blocked” numbers. In addition, the YouMail greetings community, with tens of thousands of greetings, is just a few clicks away from within the app itself. Now, President Obama can select a greeting for his beloved Blackberry that sounds just like him without even having to record one!
- Number Search Available In-App. It’s YouMail’s belief that once you receive a call from an unwanted number, you should never have to receive a call from that number again. In this latest update, YouMail’s Caller Search lets you quickly do a Google search right from the “menu” key, so you’ll know the real story behind any phone number you’re not familiar with.
YouMail is available to post-paid mobile users in the US on all major carriers including AT&T Wireless, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, and T-Mobile. YouMail can also be used to unify a user’s mobile voicemail with their voice messages from VOIP service providers such as Google Voice, MagicJack, OOMA, and Vonage. If you’re an existing YouMail user you can get the update directly from App World (it should notify you of the update). If not, you can get started with YouMail by visiting http://greetings.youmail.com from your BlackBerry.
