ZTE Axon 7 Price
The ZTE Axon 7 will be priced at $399.98, much lower than what we expected. This makes this smartphone a very good buy, specially when compared to other smartphones with similar specs.
You’ll can now pre-order the Axon 7 from Amazon, Best Buy, B&H, Newegg and their own store. Deliveries will commence on July 27.
Now Available in Europe
The ZTE Axon 7 is now available for pre-order in several countries in Europe. If you’re living in UK, Germany, France, Italy or Spain, you can buy one now from Amazon.
In the UK, the Axon 7 is priced at £359, whereas in other parts of Europe, you’ll have to pay €449.95. Deliveries in UK will start on July 28, while Germany, Italy and Spain will have to wait till the 30th. If you want it at the earlier, you’ll have to move to France, as they’re getting it on July 25.
The smartphone is currently only available on Amazon, but will soon make its way to Media Markt, Phone House and GrosBill.
Update – May 30, 2016 – The all new ZTE Axon 7 is the successor to last years Axon Pro and boy does it impress. It’s got the latest hardware, an all metal body, and is affordable.
As another smartphone player coming from China, ZTE has to compete with a lot of other companies. With the latest Axon 7, they are competing with the likes of Samsung’s Galaxy S7/S7 Edge, the HTC 10, the LG G5, the upcoming OnePlus 3, Xiaomi Mi 5, and many others. Will it leave a mark? Well, if you’re on a budget, then this is the phone for you.
ZTE has stuck to it’s Axon Pro design language, but added some improvements here and there to make the Axon 7. The phone was designed with help from the BMW DesignWorks team, but you can’t really see that. It still looks similar to other high-end smartphones in the market.
On the front, you’ll find a big 5.5 inch AMOLED display, two front-facing stereo speakers, and a large selfie camera. The speaker grills are large and according to ZTE, will provide the best in class sound thanks to Dolby Surround Sound support.
ZTE Axon 7 Specs
The Axon 7 is a high end smartphone with high-end specs and a very pocket friendly price tag. As mentioned before, it is made out of aluminum, which gives it that premium look and feel. It is slightly curved at the edges so it feels secure in your hands.

- 3,140mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0
The ZTE Axon 7 comes with dual SIM support, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, and features a USB Type-C port at the bottom. It runs a forked version of Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, called MiFavor UI 4.0.
According to ZTE, the smartphone will first be available for purchase only in China. However, the company will bring the device to other markets soon. We’re not sure when ‘soon’ is, but we’ll let you know as soon as you can buy one in the US or the UK. It will be sold unlocked in either Ion Gold or Quartz Grey colors and will cost less than $500.
