Acer has announced a brand new line of gaming desktops at this year’s IFA in Berlin.  Acer has been a big supporter of eSports since 2009 and consumers can now take advantage of that commitment.  Acer’s new desktops feature a slick armor design and are powered by the latest Intel Core processors.  Each runs NVIDIA GeForce graphics.  You can also add up to 64Gb of DDR4 memory to the systems.  Predator G6-710 desktop features stunning UHD 4K2K output resolution and X-Fi MB5 audio.  Network comes via 802.11ac WiFi.

With the gamer in mind, Acer has built technology into the G6 series desktops that lets you easily overclock.  Called “One Punch OverClocking”, essentially a nitrous button for your rig, lets you overclock the CPU with a button press.  Both desktops feature Acer’s IceTunnel cooling system, which should help keep all that horsepower from overheating.

Predator series desktops should hit Europe mid-September and North America in October.  No North American pricing yet, but European pricing starts at 1,999 Euros.
