Amazon’s top-spec Fire tablet, the Fire HD 10 has undergone a transformation good enough to elicit a second look.
The once cheap feeling “plastic” shell has been shed, giving way to a shiny silver aluminium cover that gives it a more superior look and feel.
The good news is – you don’t have to shell out more cash to get the brand new metal version of Fire HD 10. It costs the same as the black and white plastic original.
The New Fire HD 10 Version
While the look has completely changed, the new version also comes with increased storage.
Other than that, you will find everything else almost the same as before.
There is a 10.1in HD screen with a resolution of 1280×800, a quad-core CPU, 1GB of RAM. And these attributes are perfect for the price you get the Fire HD 10 for.
Battery life was about eight hours and that remains the same. You can read, surf the web, watch videos, listen to songs and do a whole lot more.
Both the rear-facing 5MP camera and the front-facing HD camera are unchanged, which is perhaps the one thing that’s not up to the mark on this tablet.
Amazon offers a lot with this Fire tablet. You will have at your fingertips: Thousands of movies, TV shows, books, songs, games and apps from the Amazon app store come free, which also includes extra lives, unlocked levels, unlimited add-on packs and others.
You will have access to unlimited cloud storage for all Amazon content that comes from Fire devices.
