Google is reportedly getting ready to launch a new update to Android Wear very soon, and we’re getting a look at some of what’s upcoming thanks to Android Police.

The latest Android Wear APK v1.3 was torn down by AP and they found a few new things including interactive watch faces. This new feature would allow the user to quickly change how your screen looks, pull up more useful information or send a message without having to go through the extra hassle of navigating Android Wear OS.

Android Wear looks to also be bringing a new option called Together. This feature would connect you with another friend or loved one so that you always know what they’re up to. The watch face (as shown in the first picture) shows the person’s face and an icon of what activity they’re performing. Think of things like driving or running, for example. Once Google makes this official though, the options are pretty much limitless for third party developers.

A new Weather app and a new Translate app are reportedly coming to Android Wear through this update. The Weather app will show a 4-day forecast and could even be its own app. The new Translate app will auto-rotate to allow two people to communicate by looking at the same smartwatch face-to-face.

There’s no word on when Google will announce their new version of Android Wear, but hopefully it’s sooner rather than later.
