The BlackBerry Passport was announced a week ago, and AT&T signed an exclusivity deal for the phone in the US. While other carriers around the world are already announcing when they will start selling the ground-breaking device, AT&T has been pretty quiet with their release date. After some digging, we’ve discovered that the phone will most likely be released in the first couple of months of 2015.

I mentioned it a while ago that there were rumors and whispers of a dark evil… The Passport being released in the US in February. (You’ll have to dig around in that link to see where I mentioned it.) It’s been a rumor we’ve heard from various sources for a while and after realizing we’ve heard it so many times, it’s time to air it out for the world to see.

The rumored release date for the BlackBerry Passport on AT&T is somewhere around the end of January or beginning of February, with the carrier still deciding on a specific date. More than a couple people have given us this time frame, and they’re reliable sources who haven’t been wrong in the past, however nothing official has been said yet. Feel free to take this with a grain of salt.
