BlackBerry has also pushed an update for its iPhone beta testers today that adds some awesome news features for those of us that are using it. As part of what’s new is the ability to finally remove sticker packs that we aren’t using from the chat picker. While this won’t delete the sticker pack, having the option to remove them from that busy sticker area is awesome.

Also, BlackBerry has added iPad support, iCloud backup for chats, and their new non-BBM contact chat option. If you have a contact that is running a beta version of BBM and have their email, but don’t have them as a BBM contact, you can send them a message through BBM without needing to request them.

Check out the full change log below.

New in 2.8.0

  • Send messages to non-BBM contacts.
  • New BBM Voice call screen.
  • Ability to hide installed stickers packs from chat picker.
  • Group picture comment improvements.
  • Select contacts by category when composing Multi-Person/Broadcast messages.
  • Conversation backup and restore using iCloud.
  • iPad support! No longer need to run BBM in compatibility mode on iPad.

If you’re testing BBM for iPhone, check out the TestFlight app for your new download.
