This could be furthest from Best Buy’s true intentions. Though, it does seem a bit suspect. In the recent Sunday flyer for Best Buy they have a section in the top-right explaining trade-ins.
Best Buy will give customers up to a $200 in-store gift card. What image did they use to market their trade-in program? The brand new BlackBerry Z10, of course.
No where else had Best Buy advertised the BlackBerry Z10. You’d think the company would have picked a different mobile phone to fill the space. Preferably, at least a much older device and not a just-to-market device.
Perhaps I am just reading into it too much. Check out the flyer above and let us know in the comments whether or not you think it was just a harmless filled spot. Or, perhaps the negative attention could be good?
