BlackBerry 10 Ready Program Garners Over 1,600 North American Businesses

To prep BlackBerry 10 adoption in the enterprise sector, Research In Motion devised the BlackBerry 10 Training Program. Since the programs inception, RIM has seen more than 1,600 North American businesses register.

Over 1,000 businesses had already begun using the BlackBerry 10 Ready Program since its introduction in early December. The businesses include Fortune 500 companies, law firms, schools, universities, retailers and government agencies.

“We’re very encouraged by the participation of the types of customers,” said Bryan Lee, RIM’s senior director of enterprise accounts, in a phone interview with Bloomberg. The companies are expected to be the first adopters once the phones are commercially available, he said.

With the training, one of the main goals of the training program is to integrate the BlackBerry Enterprise Server software that RIM offers to corporate clients.
