Apparently, BlackBerry App World will soon get an update which will include an ‘Update All’ feature. Last night at the MobileMonday event in Toronto, RIM’s VP of Global Alliances and Developer Relations, Tyler Lessard, accidentally let this information slip. This feature will allow you to simultaneously update your apps within App World. No other information is clear, if it will be available only for OS 6.x or OS 5.0 too. Hopefully RIM will do it well and your BlackBerry won’t be rendered useless while your apps get updated. Either way, it is good to hear of impending improvements, and the hopes that RIM can emulate Android’s Market Place. Here’s to hoping they also include an ‘Auto Update’ feature too!
