Someone seems to have taken their BlackBerry Classic device and video taped a BlackBerry Blend demo directly from the device. It’s nice to see that Blend actually exists as we’ve been seeing source files for Fuse and ChatBlends since 10.2.1 now with the forthcoming update slated for later this year, 10.3.1 should bring the highly anticipated feature to BlackBerry 10 devices.

Against what Apple does with Continuity across all their devices, BlackBerry has created Blend to turn the phone into a handheld secure server that can push messages and information across to different devices without the use of a VPN (the communication is all actually done on the handheld). This is cool because it’s platform agnostic and you can take your BlackBerry 10 device and connect to computers, iPads and even Android tablets as well.

There’s a lot of good stuff BlackBerry is cooking up to make 10.3.1 one of the biggest updates they’ve ever done.

After seeing this retail demo what questions do you have about BlackBerry Blend and how it can help you stay connected across BBM, Email, Contacts and Calendar events?
