Presenting to you the very first leaked image of the upcoming BlackBerry Classic – a typical old-school BlackBerry QWERTY device with the traditional keyboard (Yes, John Chen already showed it off, but this is still the first picture of it in the wild!). It also features the “tool belt” which the previous Q series was exempted from, giving the Classic the appearance of a blend between the Bold 9900 and the Q10.

Scheduled for a November release, the Classic features a 3.5” screen, and will come with BlackBerry 10.3.1 OS alongside a dual-core 1.5 GHz processor. The other specifications could be similar to the Z30, considering the popularity of that device, especially its battery life, that would be a great thing.

Are you going for the Passport, or will you wait a little longer for the Classic? Sound off in the comments!

UPDATE: Another picture comparing the Q10, Bold 9900, and Classic has been posted on It’s pretty awesome to see how the Classic stacks up vs its predecessors. The Classic is longer, but looks exactly like what a BlackBerry with a QWERTY keyboard should look like. If you’re not a fan of the Passport, the Classic is the best option out there for you.
