BlackBerry ‘Cyclone’, BBTV, Images Surface

Back in 2011, BlackBerry planned a media box, called BBTV, with the codename ‘Cyclone’. However, the company decided for unknown reasons to pull the project.

Now, purported images of the BlackBerry ‘Cyclone’ have emerged, showing what this HDMI streamer would have been like.

The device would allow you to connect your BlackBerry smartphone to show photos, videos, and music on your TV. Additionally, it appears that you would have been able to use such services as Netflix and YouTube.

Why are these photos surfacing today? Your guess is as good as ours. Nevertheless, it’s great to attain some missing details on the ‘Cyclone’ since we first learned of it in 2011.
