BlackBerry is currently working on a new iteration of the BlackBerry Passport. Initially, the silver-clad Passport was codenamed “Oslo,” but has since been renamed the “Dallas.”
In our original report, we noted the model number was SQW100-4 and its release wasn’t China-only (contrary to what others reported).
New evidence of the upcoming Passport seeding throughout the APAC region comes from OurBerries. BlackBerry device model SQW100-4 has been approved for carriers in Malaysia:
The BlackBerry “Dallas” will feature similar radio bands and the same specs as the current BlackBerry Passport. Expect the “Dallas” to have 2.2GHz Snapdragon 801 processor with 3GB of RAM, 3,450mAh capacity battery, and 13MP OIS rear-camera.
