BlackBerry Link will Replace Desktop Software?

Throughout the course of BlackBerry’s lifetime we’ve seen various iterations of the software used to manage them. From ‘Desktop Manager’ to ‘Desktop Software’, it seems BlackBerry 10 will introduce a new version.

BlackBerry Link looks to be, literally, the link between the user syncing their pictures, video, music, etc from BlackBerry device to computer. This seems apparent from the picture shown above on a BlackBerry 10 Dev Apha B at BlackBerry Jam Americas.

No other information has been found about BlackBerry Link. Hopefully the next iteration of BlackBerry device management will offer better Mac support and possibly even Linux compatibility. What would you like to see BlackBerry Link offer?
