A few months ago, the world had its first look at the BlackBerry Oslo. Though, it was only via computer rendered images. Aside from the Oslo’s alleged target market audience, little was known about the device.
Today, we exclusively present the first photos and specs of the BlackBerry Oslo. As previously rumored, the Oslo is much like the AT&T Passport, as a “re-do” of the original Passport.
The Oslo features the same exact specs (2.2GHz MSM8974 Snapdragon processor, 13 MP Camera, 3 GB RAM, 3450 mAh battery) and is model SQW100-4. But, it is in obviously a different form factor, which appears to be a combination of steel frame mixed with silver plastic.
The BlackBerry Oslo is currently targeted to the EMEA and APAC regions. The Oslo may be the Passport that we see offered to users in China.
As far as software goes, the Oslo is sporting a final build of OS 10.3.2 (Gold Candidate version 10.3.2.2150), like rumors previously suggested.
The backside of the Oslo features a textured rubberized back, similar to the Z3 and Leap. However, instead of dimpled, the Oslo’s back appears to be beveled.
That’s all there is to know thus far. Keep it locked to N4BB for more on the Oslo. Check out the gallery below:
