One of the biggest opportunities and risks for BlackBerry CEO John is going into the Chinese market in hopes of capturing a piece of the mobile pie. According to new rumors, BlackBerry is hoping to take the device pictured above and market it in China and other small regions throughout the world.
This device, codenamed ‘Oslo’, is essentially another version of the AT&T Passport. You can tell the similarities between the two in its rounded edges, for example. Rumored specs point to it having a 3450mAh battery along with BlackBerry OS 10.3.2.
As Bla1ze from CrackBerry points out, this device, much like the Bold 9788, won’t be seen by most as its a region-specific phone, so don’t fall too in love with it. Unless you’re in Asia, you probably won’t be picking this one up.
