Looking to understand how Android developers can port their apps over to the BlackBerry PlayBook? Ahead of DevCon, RIM has posted a video on their YouTube account detailing the ‘BlackBerry Packager for Android’. The program allows Android developers to convert their APK to BAR files. They can then repackage and sign the app to make it ready for adding to App World. RIM is allowing all developers free signing keys and app submission. Let’s hope we keep seeing more apps from Android developers. Check out the video below.
