BlackBerry just released their newly designed Passport, the Silver Edition, and it was, of course, running BlackBerry 10. Some new pictures and a video have surfaced of the Passport SE running what appears to be Android 5.0.

Obviously, we’re not totally sure if this an official testing device, or if it’s just something that someone managed to do for fun. The video, which you can watch below, shows off the touch-enabled keyboard moving between app drawers. That’s something pretty much impossible to fake for those that are screaming “photoshop!!!”

Also noteworthy is the fact that the BlackBerry Safeguard icon makes an appearance. If this was just a launcher being run on top of BlackBerry 10, odds are that would not be present.

As you guys know, we reported exclusively a few months back that BlackBerry was indeed working on a low-end Android smartphone, but maybe now the Passport Silver Edition will get some Android love as well.
