In the press release BlackBerry issued to announce the arrival of the BlackBerry Q5 in Canada, the company did not include pricing. The BlackBerry Q5 is expected to release on August 13th with Canadian carriers.
An internal TELUS document has shed some light on the Q5 being priced at $49 for a 2yr contract or $425 outright. Bell and Virgin will also carry the Q5 for as little as $399 outright, with Virgin exclusively getting a red version.
A quick spec recap on the Q5, the smartphone has a 3.1-inch display (resolution of 720×720), 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 5MP rear-facing camera and 2MP front-facing camera, 8GB internal storage and LTE-connectivity.
