BlackBerry will officially launch the Classic smartphone at events tomorrow. BlackBerry will host the Classic’s launch in New York City, Frankfurt, and Singapore.
After the launch event, BlackBerry plans to make a statement. The company will visit the Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square to ring the market closing bell.
In honor of the occasion, James Yersh, BlackBerry’s Chief Financial Officer, will ring the Closing Bell. It is interesting to wonder why BlackBerry will be ringing the bell. Perhaps to highlight the Classic’s launch and possible positive earnings report set to be announced on the 19th.
This will take place at the Nasdaq MarketSite 4 Times Square 43rd & Broadway Broadcast Studio on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 3:45 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. EST.
