BlackBerry Theme Studio 7 in the Works

BlackBerry Theme Studio 7 in the Works

Themes were a staple of the BlackBerry experience.  The lack of a Theme Builder application for BlackBerry 7 made the theme development process difficult.  Some persistent and clever developers have managed to find a way around this issue.  However, there is good news.  In a Twitter message to @tw820, RIM stated,

“Theme Studio 7 is en route and we are looking to release ASAP.”

A Time frame for release remains unknown as “ASAP” could imply pretty much anything at this point.  Despite having themes for BlackBerry 7 already, there could have been much more had Theme Studio 7 been released earlier.

Are you excited to see more themes come to BlackBerry7?  Sound off in the comments below!
