Back in August of 2012 we hypothesized if Research In Motion should use Corning’s Gorilla Glass. We’ve received confirmation from RIM that the BlackBerry Z10 does feature Gorilla Glass.
Gorilla Glass has taken the mobile space as the industry standard. Corning just recently released Gorilla Glass 2, which is now up to 20 percent thinner, enabling slimmer devices, better touch responsiveness, and brighter images without sacrificing the damage resistance consumers demand.
However, we haven’t yet been informed which iteration of Gorilla Glass is used on the BlackBerry Z10. Are you happy to know that the Z10 is protected by Gorilla Glass?
