BlackBerry wants to be at the forefront of mobile security for years to come, and that’s going to present some challenges that the company is ready to address. In an interview with Fedscoop, BlackBerry President of Global Sales, John Sims, discussed the changes that are occurring in mobile in Federal governments and what needs to be done to address them.

Sims points out the fact that end users want to be able to do more with their work devices, but are, most of the time, unable to because of strict policies put in place to secure their content. With the BYOD trend not slowing down any time soon, BlackBerry’s BES 12 fits the needs these government agencies are having with their employees, while still being able to keep their minds at ease that their devices are still secure.

It’s a quick 6 minute interview, so do yourself a favor, and check it out above.
