BlackBerry hasn’t had its best market share ride in the U.S. recently, but according to the latest comScore reports, the Canadian company still has the 3rd most popular OS in the country. The report notes BlackBerry’s market share has fallen 0.4% this last quarter to 3.4%, while Windows Phone (who occupies the 4th slot) also had a 0.2% dip to 3.1%. As always, comScore does not differentiate between BlackBerry legacy, and BlackBerry 10, so there’s no real way of knowing how the two breakdown according to them.

Android and iOS obviously take the bulk of the U.S. pie with 51.5% and 41.8% respectively, but unlike what some idiotic tech writers would have you believe (I’m looking at you, BGR), it’s evident there is still somewhat of a user base here for both Microsoft and BlackBerry to cater to.
