How to Change The Lock Screen Message on your BlackBerry

How to Change The Lock Screen Message on your BlackBerry

The BlackBerry lock screen message is quite useful. If you keep your BlackBerry password locked and you lose it, whoever finds it would be able to contact you with the info displayed in the lock screen. You can also put someone else’s number. In case of an emergency, if anything were to happen to you, others would be able to contact your relatives with that information. Here’s how you setup or change the lock screen message on your BlackBerry smartphone:

1. Go to Options and select Display from the menu.

2. Choose the Message on Lock Screen option from the new menu.

3. Enter the information you would like to display.

4. Press the back button and save

That’s it! Make sure you put information that won’t put you in danger, such as phone numbers or email address. Your bank account or address wouldn’t be good ideas. If you have any questions or suggestions write them in the comments below!
