How to Change “My Number” on your BlackBerry

How to Change “My Number” on your BlackBerry

I’ve come accross many BlackBerry users having this same “problem” where they bought a used BlackBerry and it still shows the old users phone number. Changing this is very easy, but you can also easily forget how to do it, so I’ve decided to make a guide on how to change the “My Number” field on your BlackBerry with your phone number. Here’s how to do it:

1. Open the phone dialer, type ##000000 and hit send

2. A new window should show up. Type your phone number in the first field and make sure you DO NOT change any other fields.

3. Press the Menu button and tap Save.

Your phone will restart and once it’s back up it your number should be in the My Number field. If you have any questions or suggestions leave them in the comments below.
