Current BlackBerry Phones Codename List: P-Series, S-Series, K-Series
0

Following up to our added details to the currently known BlackBerry 10 A-Series, R-Series, and M-Series, we’d like to introduce you to a few new ones.

We’ve been given a BlackBerry codename file dump. Some of these we’ve already heard before, while others are completely new. For instance, we can confirm there is now a P-Series and S-Series.

A few of the codenames do seem a bit odd. We haven’t yet confirmed whether or not all of the codenames are even still in existence (minus the ones already on the market). Though, we do know the P-Series is definitely scheduled for release.

Here’s the current BlackBerry devices codename list:

  • Agosto
  • Americano
  • Anisio
  • Aramis
  • Aristo
  • Astro
  • Athos
  • Cappuccino
  • Kopi
  • Laguna
  • Latte
  • Lisbon
  • Liverpool
  • London
  • Naples
  • Nashville
  • Nevada
  • Newark
  • Newport
  • Patagonia
  • Rainier
  • Samoa
  • Sherwood

You’ll notice the M-Series is missing. We mentioned before the Milan was canceled, or essentially indefinitely put on hold. You’ll also see there are many A and L devices.

We’re to believe some of them are codenames for previous prototypes before the final revisions we’ve come to know. Interestingly enough there are two oddballs: Cappuccino and Kopi.

Doing some research, Kopi is Greek for a type of sword with forward-carving blade. Perhaps the K-Series will have something to do with the A-Series given the Greek correlation. As for Cappuccino, Americano, and even Latte – your guess is as good as ours.

Take what you will from this list. We’re still digging for more information on these devices. BlackBerry certainly has a long list of devices planned for the roadmaps of years to come. Keep it locked to N4BB.com for more info.
