It’s no secret that BlackBerry owners with OS 10.2.1 and higher can now directly download Android apps to their smart phones, and I love showing you guys some apps that haven’t made their way to BlackBerry World yet. Today, I’d like to talk about Notegraphy, an app that will turn even the most inartistic into a word artist.
What is it?
The best way to describe Notegraphy is that it’s like Instagram, but for words. With this app, you can take a quote and turn it into a fancy work of art that you can then share on Facebook or Twitter, as well as in the Notegraphy community.
You can garner a few followers and start following others, as well as like and thank people for their various quotes. There are different ways to thank people, such as for a laugh, smile, inspiration, etc.
I really enjoy using this app. It’s tons of fun to put in different quotes and choose different styles to showcase your words. The app itself is pretty easy to use, and runs pretty smoothly. Browsing through different users’ accounts and galleries is also a breeze.
While it is fun to scroll through the different designs and options, I do wish there were a bit more customization involved. I’ve had a few issues with the app not being able to connect to my network, be it cellular or WiFi, but they were only temporary. There’s also no way to share your creations on Instagram, so if you want to do that, you have to save the photo to your phone and then upload it through iGrann or Instagram.
Notegraphy is a great way to share some words you may have heard or read somewhere while at the same time giving them an attractive layout and making yourself looking like a bonafide typography expert. The app is free in Google Play, so go give it a download and test spin.
