Samsung’s next Unpacked event is scheduled for tomorrow, and we’re expecting to see at least two new devices from the Korean giant.
Galaxy Note 5
The fifth generation Galaxy Note will most definitely be announced tomorrow. In keeping tradition with its typical phablet-style, the Note 5 will feature a large 5.66-inch Quad HD display. It’ll be running on Samsung’s Exynos 7420 octa-core chip with 4GB of RAM. The Note 5’s cameras are set to be 16MP on the back and 5MP for the front.
The big change for this new Note will be the lack of removal microSD storage and battery. It’ll be interesting to see how Samsung explains this change in how the Note series tackles storage and battery life.
Galaxy S6 Edge Plus
The S6 Edge Plus is pretty unprecedented. While it’ll more than likely look just like the regular S6 edge, the Plus will be much, much bigger and like the Note 5 will be aimed at consumers that want a giant phone. With its curved edges, though, it’ll be interesting to see how comfortable the S6 Edge Plus is to hold, and if it has a chance to be a better device its Note rival.
If you’re interested in catching the live stream of this event, Samsung has set up its official landing here and will be broadcasting live starting at 11am EDT. The event will be hosted in New York City and we’ll be there to bring you all the details as they are announced, so keep it locked!
