Vin Diesel has announced the release dates for the Fast and Furious 9 and 10 movies

Fast and Furious star Vin Diesel announced the release dates for Fast 9 and Fast 10, or whatever they’ll be called, in an Instagram post.

Although Fast 8 hasn’t even finished filming yet, the cast and crew have already started to plan out the next movies in the series. After the last installment, Fast 7, Vin Diesel had announced that there will be three more movies coming. It was something that the late Paul Walker had wanted, so they’ll keep the show running.

Now though, Diesel, has confirmed the dates for all the three upcoming movies. Fast 8 will be released on April 14 2017, which isn’t till next year. We knew this already, and we also knew that there could be a spinoff based on the character played by Dwayne Johnson, Luke Hobbs.

There’s going to be a 2 year gap between each of the films. Vin Diesel wrote on Instagram, 2 Decades, 10 Films, 1 Saga. Fast 9 release date is set for April 9 2019 and Fast 10 release date has been set for April 2 2021. We’re not sure what the storyline for these movies will be, but Fast 8 will take place in New York and continue the events of Fast 7. Paul Walker will not be a part of the movies in any CGI manner.
