With the announcement that our team will be covering other mobile platforms, we made it clear that our forums would be tied to all of the sites within the network.

This means, discussions found across the sites will all flow into the forums. But, what if you don’t want to see discussions about Android, Apple, etc? You’re safe.

Our forums allow you to filter out the content you have no interest in seeing. Here’s how to keep content out of sight, out of mind:

On the top-left is a link titled ‘Categories’. This takes you to a page that lists all of the categories found on our forums.

Hovering over a specific forums category brings up a gear icon, with a few options.

In the dialog, you’ll see an option to ‘Hide’. Any content associated with the particular category will no longer show up when visiting our forums.

Select ‘Hide’ and you’ll be well on your way to only seeing what matters most to you. The changes can also be reversed, should you change your mind.

You can also filter out users. If a user is trolling a category you love, you can view their profile and mark as ‘Ignore’. Any comments, discussions, etc. from the user will henceforth be filtered.

We really hope to make the UMG Forums a great place to engage in healthy mobile platform discussions. Should you have any questions, feel free to drop a comment!
